Alphametics are puzzles where each letter stands for a different digit. Here are two alphametics. No word can begin with a zero. We’ve started you out with some of the letters.

BASE + BALL = GAMES

Let E = 3;B = 7;A = 4

I don't think this needs much explanation, G is obviously 1.
L=5 and S=8, hence M=9
