Try your luck at these three analogy puzzles. An analogy compares two things to two others. Here is an example:

9 : 10 : : 81 : ?

This is read as “9 is to 10 as 81 is to . . .” and the answer is 100.

92 = 81

102 = 100

Now find the missing numbers or words in the following analogies:

b. 3 : 27 : : 4 : ?
