When the polynomial f (x) is divisible by x + 2 and x² + 1, it leaves the reminders 7 and x + 4 respectively. What is the remainder when f (x) is divided by (x + 2)(x² + 1)

I think you should say: f(x) is divided by ..., because f(x) is divisible when it doesn't have any remainder.
