It is given that (a + b + c) is an add number. Show that (a + b + c) \(\times\)(a - b + c) is also an odd number.

    a + b + c is odd ; 2b is even,so a + b + c - 2b is odd

    => a - b + c is odd => (a + b + c)(a - b + c) is odd
