    AD = (AB + AD) - AB = 34 : 2 - 5 = 12 (cm)

    Applying the Pythagorean theorem, we have :

    \(BD=\sqrt{AB^2+AD^2}=\sqrt{5^2+12^2}=13\) (cm)

    The answer is : \(12+5+13=30\) (cm)
