With x2x = 1
\(\Rightarrow\left[{}\begin{matrix}x=1\\2x=0\end{matrix}\right.\Rightarrow\left[{}\begin{matrix}x=1\\x=0\end{matrix}\right.\)
But the question asked how many non-zero values of x
So that : x = 1
-
\(x^{2x}=1\Leftrightarrow\left(x^x\right)^2=1\Rightarrow\left[{}\begin{matrix}x^x=1\\x^x=-1\end{matrix}\right.\Rightarrow\left[{}\begin{matrix}x=1\\x=-1\end{matrix}\right.\)
