The area of the rectangle is : x.3x = 3x2

The area of the isosceles right triangle is : \(\dfrac{x.x}{2}=\dfrac{x^2}{2}\)

The ratio of the rectangle's area to the triangle's area is :

    \(3x^2:\dfrac{x^2}{2}=6\)
