    1. The smaller number is \(248:2-1=123\).

    2. The least natural number is \(0\)

    4. There different is: 40

    (Explaination) We have the smallest 3 digit number is 100.

    The smaller number = 100 : (3+7) . 3 = 30

    The bigger number = 100 - 30 = 70

    Their difference = 70 - 30 = 40.

    1. Call two consecutive odd number is :

    2k + 1 ; 2k + 3

    We have :

    \(\dfrac{\left(2k+1\right)+\left(2k+3\right)}{2}=248\)

    => 4k + 4 = 2.248

    => 2k + 2 = 248

    => 2k =  246

    => k = 123

    So , two consecutive odd number is :

    2k + 1 = 2.123 + 1 = 246 + 1 = 247

    2k + 3 = 2,123 + 3 = 246 + 3 = 249
