    1.The greatest 3-digit number is 999 and the greatest 2-digit number is 99.So,the sum and the difference of 2 numbers are 999 and 99 respectively.The greater number is : (999 + 99) : 2 = 549

    2.The smallest 3-digit number is 100.The sum of 100 and 241 is :

    100 + 241 = 341

    3.Let x and y be the numbers.Then xy = 2364

    \(\Rightarrow2x\times3y=6xy=6\times2364=14184\)

    Hence,the answer is 14184

    4.The greater number is : 270 : (2 + 4) x 4 = 180
