Numbers 2,3,4 and one more number are written in the cells of 2 x 2 table. It is know that the sums of the numbers in the first row are equal 9, and the sum of the numbers in the second row is equal to 6. The unknown number is?

The sum of the numbers in the table is : 9 + 6 =15

The unknown number is : 15 - 2 - 3 - 4 = 6

Call the number sought x, we have:
X + 2 + 3 + 4 = 9 + 6 = 15
Moving the numbers 2,3,4 from left to right (number 15), we have:
X = 15 -2 - 3 - 4 = 6
So, the number to find is 6
