What is its value of the expression at the right in simplest form:\(\left(5\dfrac{1}{3}-2\dfrac{1}{2}\right)+\left(5\dfrac{1}{2}-3\dfrac{1}{3}\right)\)

  • ...
Futeruno Kanzuki Coordinator 26/05/2017 at 21:37

    \(\left(5\dfrac{1}{3}-2\dfrac{1}{2}\right)+\left(5\dfrac{1}{2}-3\dfrac{1}{3}\right)\)

    \(=5\dfrac{1}{3}-2\dfrac{1}{2}+5\dfrac{1}{2}-3\dfrac{1}{3}\)

    \(=\left(5\dfrac{1}{3}-3\dfrac{1}{3}\right)+\left(5\dfrac{1}{2}-2\dfrac{1}{2}\right)\)

    \(=2+3=5\)

    \(516-\left[340+\left(-4-1\right)\right]=516-\left[340+\left(-5\right)\right]=516-335=181\)

    Hiệp Dương 26/07/2017 at 10:59

    We have : 516 - [340 + (-4 - 1)]

    = 516 - (340 - 5)

    = 516 - 335

    = 181

What is the sum of the integer values of x, where x < 8, that produce an integer value for the expression \(\sqrt{2+4+6+x}\)?

  • ...
    07NK-6789 Coordinator 03/01/2018 at 19:15

    \(\sqrt{2+4+6+x}\) (Condition \(-12\le x< 8\)).

    \(\Leftrightarrow\sqrt{12+x}=n\left(n\in N\right)\)

    So x will satisfy \(x=\left\{-12;-11;-8;-3;4\right\}\)

    The sum of \(x=-12-11-8-3+4=-30\)
